THE PROJECT

GOFTHIA IS A NEW AMBITIOUS PROJECT INITIATED BY THE BRIDGEHUB, WHICH AIMS AT PROMOTING TOURISM IN THE REGION OF FTHIOTIDA, IN THE HEART OF CENTRAL GREECE.

GOFTHIA’S GOAL IS INVITING PEOPLE IN A JOURNEY AROUND THE REGION TO PRESENT THE UNIQUENESS ON THE LOCAL NATURAL RESAOURCES, SPECIAL HIGHLIGHTS AND TREASURES THROUGH THEIR CAMERA LENSES.

A PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST WILL ENCOURAGE THEM TO GET EVEN MORE ACQUAINTED WITH THEIR AREA, CAPTURING AND PRESENTING FTHIOTIDA’S TOP DESTINATIONS OF HISTORIC, GASTRONOMIC AND NATURAL LANDSCAPE INTEREST.

LET’S PROMOTE THE BEAUTY OF FTHIA BY SPREADING THE WORD TO EVERY CREATIVE INDIVIDUAL! A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS! COLORFUL VILLAGES, HISTORIC SITES, WILD LANDSCAPES AND TASTEFUL LOCAL DISHES AWAIT TO BE EXPLORED!

GOFTHIA IS A PROJECT AIMING TO CREATE THE CULTURAL PHOTOBOOK OF FTHIOTIDA CAPTURED BY CREATIVE LOCALS AND EASILY ACCESSIBLE TO EVERYONE THROUGH
#GOFTHIA HASHTAG.

FTHIOTIDA IS AN UNDISCOVERED REGION WITH OUTSTANDING BEAUTIFUL NATURE, UNIQUE HISTORICAL PLACES AND A TOP GASTRONOMY DESTINATION. GOFTHIA MOTIVATES LOCALS TO ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL CULTURE AND LEARN ABOUT LOCAL HERITAGE. SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS WILL BE USED FIRSTLY ON ADVERTISING THE CONTEST AND SECONDLY, ON PRESENTING THE CONTEST OUTPUTS I.E THE ACTUAL PHOTOS.

THE PARTICIPANTS WILL SHARE THEIR UNIQUE VIEWS OF THE AREAS, PROMOTING AWARENESS OF THE LOCAL HISTORY, GASTRONOMY, NATURE AND PLACES OF THE REGION.
